skilled Freelance PCB Designer

with proven expertise in

OrCAD . Overview

As a PCB Designer, you will work closely with our engineering team to create and optimize printed circuit board layouts for high-performance unmanned platforms. You will translate schematics into production-ready PCB designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, reliability, and manufacturability. Responsibilities

Develop and finalize PCB layouts in OrCAD based on provided schematics and system requirements. Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet electrical, thermal, and mechanical specifications. Perform design checks, signal integrity analysis, and design rule verification. Prepare and deliver fabrication/assembly files (Gerbers, BOMs, assembly drawings, etc.). Support design reviews and implement feedback efficiently. Ensure compliance with IPC standards and best practices for manufacturability. Requirements

Proven experience as a PCB Designer with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in

OrCAD Capture & PCB Designer

tools. Solid understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and DFM/DFT principles. Familiarity with high-speed design, multilayer boards, and power distribution. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Experience working on aerospace, robotics, or unmanned systems projects (preferred but not required). What We Offer
