Design Engineer
to join our Engineering team. In this mid-level role, you will design and develop fluid system components tailored to customer and industry requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive new product development and improve existing product lines, ensuring performance, manufacturability, and quality at every stage. Key Responsibilities Design and develop customized fluid system components to meet client specifications. Create detailed CAD models and technical drawings for manufacturing and assembly. Collaborate with product managers and production teams to ensure functionality, performance, and manufacturability. Assist in testing, validation, and analysis of prototypes and final products. Maintain accurate engineering documentation and support seamless transition into production. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for design processes and product innovation. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3+ years of experience in mechanical/product design, ideally in the fluid components or related industry. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with fluid dynamics or component testing. Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements. Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles. Work Environment Hybrid work model with regular in-person collaboration at our Gurnee, IL facility.
