Unity Lab Services, providing integrated solutions, instruments, and enterprise services. The Field Service Engineer II manages all aspects of field service support, including installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and instrument qualification. The role requires a customer-oriented mindset, advocacy for Thermo Fisher Scientific, and a drive for growth. How You Will Make an Impact
Provide technical support to ensure equipment and system performance. Work directly with customers to meet their needs, ensuring satisfaction and product efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and train customers on Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry products professionally and reliably. Meet customer SLA and internal KPI objectives. Ensure customer satisfaction in all services provided. Share knowledge and standard practices with colleagues to improve efficiency. Assist the Commercial Team with technical information, training, and demos. Document all field activities accurately and submit reports timely. Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, or equivalent. Preferred hands-on experience supporting Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry systems in a lab setting. At least 2 years of experience with relevant equipment systems. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Interest in technology and IT trends. Knowledge of electron microscopes is a plus. Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Willingness to travel daily and up to 50% overnight within NY, NJ, PA. Ability to lift 40 lbs., stand for long periods, work overtime. Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks. Benefits
