What We're Looking For – Come join our growing team! We are seeking a design engineer to join the Municipal Transportation Section in Overland Park to design municipal roadways for local clients such as the City of Olathe, City of Overland Park, and City of Lenexa. Recent projects include I-35 & Santa Fe Street Interchange, I-35 & 119th Street Interchange, 167th Street (Switzer to Antioch), and various arterial street rehabilitation projects in Olathe, KS. Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided. Prepares and/or modifies select portions of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations. Develops project quantities and assists with cost estimates. Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files. Self-sufficiently completes tasks including research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects. Performs other duties as assigned. What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering and 1 year of relevant experience What You'll Bring
Exhibits proficiency in applying engineering, geometric and algebraic principles in work. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and MicroStation and/or AutoCAD or other required software. What We Prefer
Master's degree in Engineering Engineer in Training (EIT) certification Knowledgeable in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Additional Information
