What You'll Do
Review power quality studies and provide solutions to address flicker, harmonics, and voltage stability. Design, size, and safely implement low and medium voltage power systems. Join the corporate Engineering, Technology, and Innovation team, where you'll be responsible for design, project, and construction management of small to large industrial projects throughout the organization. Develop functional/performance specifications for electrical distribution and process control equipment/systems, low and medium voltage system design, high voltage power system knowledge, fiber optic and networking design. Assist with switchgear and breaker coordination setup, incorporating load factors in the design. Ensure that installations and applications comply with governing codes including NEC and NFPA. Complete designs and provide value engineering. Administer and supervise the construction quality assurance program. What You'll Need
Minimum 5+ years of industrial design and field construction experience. Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Proficient with AutoCAD 2016 or later. Experience with field work and understanding customer needs. History of meeting established project deadlines. Ability to work within project scope and budget. Registered professional engineer with an active license in good standing (will be required to obtain). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Team player, detail-oriented, and organized. Proficiency with computer operating systems, including Microsoft Office. Your Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) preferred; or equivalent experience.
