Material Control Specialist – HL Mando America Corporation
Join us to lead daily operations of the material control department, managing inventory, warehouse, OSP, PO release, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
Responsibilities
Inventory & Warehouse Management: maintain target storage capacity, perform daily action plans, manage team KPI, and participate in daily warehouse improvement activities. OSP Management: manage daily and weekly PO orders, conduct bi‑monthly physical inventories, control safety stock levels, control transportation costs, and adjust defect materials from OSP suppliers. Release PO (Demand) to supplier: analyze long‑term plans distributed by Production Control, update MRP data, release PO weekly, manage supplier KPIs (PO vs Receipt), confirm Advanced Receiving Notice, balance out management to avoid premium freight and excess inventory, and close monthly ARNs. Inventory Management: set appropriate inventory levels, maintain 100% inventory accuracy between actual and system (GMES, SAP), analyze inventory movements, and manage slow‑moving inventory. Delivery Management: manage transportation, LDC rates, and supplier delivery schedules (ETD, ETA). EO / 4M / New Program Management: support all EO changes, launch new programs, and minimize premium shipping costs. Monthly Closing: log logistic cost matching and register onto SAP system. Qualifications
Prior work experience in materials/supply chain management within the automotive industry is preferred. Bilingual is a preference. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multi‑task, and work well under pressure. Experience in supply chain management, material control, and/or purchasing is desired.
