Quality Assurance Administrator

Valence Location: Everett, WA • Type: Full-Time Non-Exempt (hourly) • Schedule: 1st Shift Valence Surface Technologies production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm), 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am). Responsibilities
Have a thorough understanding of quality assurance/control & chemical processing philosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools, standards, organizational and team dynamics, customer satisfaction, training, interpersonal relationships, improvement systems, and professional ethics. Understand management systems, including development, documentation, and implementation with respect to domestic standards or requirements. Create, implement and maintain standard processing, equipment matrices and procedures to support compliance of flow-down through requirements planning, product realization planning and associated activities. Create, implement and verify the accuracy of standard process trees within material requirements planning (MRP) systems and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure process tree consistency and accuracy for like processes/approvals at each plant during initial deployment of the MRP system. Perform internal audits and develop operational and quality procedures to support the qualification of new processes and approvals. Develop and understand the audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results, and follow-up. Create and support quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, and reporting results, and using problem-solving methods to promote continual improvement. Support product and process quality in accordance with established quality principles, planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling, and measurement systems. Support quality product applications in chemical processing, nondestructive testing, and surface enhancement processes and activities. Support each of the quality functions with flexibility to step in as needed to ensure on-time delivery. Understand and apply problem-solving and lean quality improvement tools and techniques. Acquire and analyze data using standard quantitative methods to facilitate process analysis and improvements; implement risk analysis philosophies/methodologies and their applications. Understand readiness processes and requirements. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
