Department Supervisor

will support the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues. A Day in the Life

Working at H&M means no two days are the same, but a typical day includes the following responsibilities. Customer Sales & Profit

Support the total OMNI customer experience in the store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines. Represent the H&M brand positively during customer interactions. Be aware of and take responsibility for the department's strengths and identify commercial opportunities; work with the Department Manager to act on them. Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that the team works to actively promote and sell products to customers. Follow up that the team actively promotes the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives. Ensure correct routines in fitting rooms and at checkout, including transactions, returns and exchanges. Ensure all admin routines for both people and operations are handled correctly. Fashion & Trend Awareness

Keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers. Ensure the team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions. Team & Development

Retain and share knowledge and skills with the store team. Collaborate with the in-store Visual Merchandiser team for planning and teamwork. Give and receive feedback to learn, develop and support each other. Communicate regularly to inform, motivate and inspire – daily and weekly meetings. Ensure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed. Retail Operations/ Visual & Commercial Execution

Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back-of-house areas including stockroom. Ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial product presentation, with good garment care. Ensure stock levels are adequate and provide input on allocation to the Area team. Ensure the full garment cycle—from delivery to garment presentation and fitting room routines—meets internal standards and uses all tools and technology provided. Maintain best practices for in-store OMNI Services and in-store tech tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.). Maintain price signs in-store and on the sales floor according to global and local strategies to ensure a strong price perception. Update and maintain BOH areas with key information, health & safety, and tidiness. Responsible for opening and closing the store daily. Qualifications
