Job Description
Performs operational tests on a wide variety of moderately complex production components, subassemblies and systems using data sheets, schematics, wiring diagrams, established test specifications and standard test procedures, which clearly outline procedures to be followed.
Demonstrates an extensive understanding of test equipment, subassemblies, and components related to electronics and fundamental electrical principles.
Sets up and operates in accordance with prescribed procedures a variety of test stands consisting of multiples of standard test equipment such as pulse generators, amplifiers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, counters, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers etc.
Works with engineering instructions and standard test procedures to operationally test developmental products as required.
Interprets test data and checks results against specifications, test procedures and data sheets to determine proper functioning and test quality of product.
Deviates from standard test procedures as required to troubleshoot, locate and diagnose malfunctions within the unit requiring application of technical knowledge, skill and ingenuity. Realigns and readjusts unit as required.
Designates rework instructions where necessary and retests after rework.
Approves / rejects test results. Records test data and submit test failure/acceptance reports. Notifies supervisor of unusual conditions or undesirable trends.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Work Schedule
This role requires working on-site at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time, with a unique schedule: Weekend Day Shift (Friday to Sunday, 5AM to 5PM) or Weekend Night Shift (Friday to Sunday, 5PM to 5AM).
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School Diploma OR GED.
At least 2 year degree at a Technical school and/or College degree, or at least 4 years work and/or equivalent experience.
Secret Clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
4 year College Degree.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70,607 - $112,971.
