Overview

Design and Analysis Engineer (contract) at Boeing. This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Responsibilities

Work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications. Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Resolve problems and provide support of fielded hardware and software across the product lifecycle. Research technology advances for potential application to company business needs. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science Bachelor of Science with 3 years of experience in relevant field or Master of Science with 1 year of experience in relevant field Experience with system requirements analysis, schematic design, and hardware/software integration Experience or knowledge of RS422/RS232, PC104, TCP/IP & Ethernet, IEEE-488, MMSI, and MIL-STD-1553 communication standards, protocols and/or interfaces Experience or knowledge of common military standards used in hardware design and testing (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1472, etc.) Experience with CAD and creating Electrical Schematics Experience utilizing JIRA for project management activities such as cost and schedule management, milestone planning and execution of SOW Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Experience or knowledge of cybersecurity principals or cyber certifications Experience or knowledge of network design Experience with systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics (e.g., DOORs, CAMEO, earned value management) Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Experience with product/systems development and integration Technical system domain knowledge (e.g., air vehicle and/or weapons) CompTIA Security+ Certification Pay Rate

Min Pay Rate: 63 USD hourly; Max Pay Rate: 70 USD hourly Benefits Information
