We are seeking an experienced and compassionate
Travel MRI Technologist
for an 8-week assignment in Huntsville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
Assess image quality and collaborate with radiologists for accurate interpretation
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to documentation protocols
Follow hospital policies, safety guidelines, and HIPAA compliance
Coordinate with radiologists, physicians, and the broader care team
Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of MRI equipment and imaging suites
Qualifications
ARRT (MR) certification – Required
Minimum 1–2 years of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Experience with GE or Siemens MRI systems – Preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, team-based environment
