Responsibilities
Deliver professional nursing care to clinic patients, including diagnostic testing and clinical procedures within scope of training and licensure.
Perform triage and address urgent or complex situations escalated from staff.
Administer medications as per provider orders, document and log medication usage, and manage controlled substances.
Assist with point of care testing and lab tests following protocols.
Document all procedures and interactions in the electronic medical record accurately.
Prepare patients for visits, including rooming, vital signs, and history collection.
Maintain exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
Demonstrate cultural competence and communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
One year RN experience in a clinic setting or two years in acute care preferred.
Current RN licensure in Washington State.
Current BLS certification.
