GE Appliances, a Haier company, is looking for highly motivated engineering students to join our Supply Chain/Manufacturing co-op program. Jumpstart your future in a co-op that helps you uncover leadership potential, develop your skills, and explore manufacturing and operations. Co-ops gain real-world manufacturing experience to help them compete for leadership programs or full-time positions after graduation. Supply Chain co-ops have opportunities to participate on committees at Appliance Park focusing on recycling, volunteerism, and social events, and to network with leaders through professional development sessions.

Co-ops at this location will be supporting ovens/ranges. Assignments span disciplines such as shop operations, process engineering, advanced manufacturing engineering, global supply chain management, quality, sourcing, materials management, and manufacturing management. GE Appliances co-ops work in a team environment to complete projects and duties as assigned by the leader.

Location: USA, LaFayette, GA

Dates and housing: The Summer 2026 Co-op runs from May 18, 2026 – August78, 2026, and is based in Lafayette, GA. Housing and relocation assistance is available for eligible students.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Set goals & objectives for your co-op rotation with your assignment leader

Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing

Use initiative to find and develop process improvements

Assist your team with development and execution of project ideas

Develop and demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving

Demonstrate the ability to work independently

Set regular feedback sessions with your assignment leader

Travel required: 0% - 10% (depending on role)

Hours & Weekends: Some overtime & Saturdays may be required depending on role

Start and end times vary depending on department and role. All roles are on 1st shift (day shift may begin between 5:30 AM and 8:00 AM)

Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required

Housing & Relocation assistance available

Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical Engineering (or related) or in Supply Chain Management (or related)

Graduation date December 2026 or later

Cumulative GPA >= 3.0 (out of 4.0)

Willing to explore all sides of Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supplier Quality/ Quality, Materials, Lean, Distribution, Fulfillment, Consumer Operations, Advanced Manufacturing)

Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring; we will not sponsor employment visas for this position now or in the future

Desired Qualifications

Previous Co-op/Internship work experience

Demonstrated leadership roles on campus or in the community

Analytical problem-solving, initiative, strong communication and teamwork skills, and related coursework or experience in the field
