Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and professional Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our family practice clinic. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of office management experience in a healthcare setting (preferably serving a medi-cal patient population), a Bachelor's degree, and strong proficiency with EPIC EHR. This leader will foster a positive and collaborative clinic culture, ensure efficient operations, support staff development, and deliver high-quality patient care outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Culture Set and maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional clinic culture. Address staff concerns promptly while fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Lead weekly team meetings and monthly trainings to strengthen collaboration and communication. Staff Supervision & Development Hire, onboard, supervise, and mentor administrative and clinical support staff. Conduct 90-day and annual performance reviews. Support staff development using performance rubrics and coaching. Ensure ongoing training and compliance Manage Staff scheduling, vacation and sick leave Operations & Patient Flow Oversee and continuously improve patient flow, front desk, scheduling, and rooming procedures. Analyze and improve workflows to optimize clinic efficiency and quality of care. Serve as the primary support for providers and clinical team in addressing daily operational needs. Patient Experience & Grievance Management Address and resolve patient inquiries, complaints, and grievances professionally and promptly. Oversee and continuously improve patient experience ensuring strong customer service and patient care. EHR & Data Management Utilize EPIC EHR effectively to oversee documentation, referrals, chart audits, and data accuracy. Ensure proper handling of medical records, imaging, labs, and referrals. Train and support staff on EPIC workflows. Compliance & Quality Ensure clinic compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations. Lead preparation and response for health plan audits and reviews. Oversee compliance to vaccine management and preparedness for VFC (Vaccine for Children) audits. Oversee and drive performance on HEDIS measures and other quality metrics. Reporting & Strategic Planning Generate and analyze reports. Identify opportunities for improvement and lead implementation of changes. Participate in monthly health plan meetings and set monthly operational priorities. Administrative Oversight Manage vaccine inventory and ordering in collaboration with providers. Ensure facility maintenance, supplies management, and vendor coordination. Take the lead on emergencies, errors, or critical issues in patient care or referrals. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred). Minimum 5 years of healthcare management experience, preferably in a clinic setting. Strong experience with EPIC Electronic Health Records (EHR) required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to handle conflict with professionalism and integrity. Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Analytical mindset with ability to improve operational workflows and systems. Knowledge of HEDIS, HIPAA, and health plan compliance standards. Schedule & Compensation: Full-Time: 40 hours per week Hourly Rate: $25–$28, depending on experience Benefits: PTO, sick leave, medical insurance, and 401(k) To apply:
