Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Audiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in audiology, with experience in both pediatric and adult populations. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, providing patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive auditory health services. The Audiologist will also play a key role in educating patients and their families about hearing health and available treatment options. Location:

Salary/Pay:
Base pay range $78.00/hr - $83.00/hr; Pay $3320-3546/week (negotiable based on experience). Employment type
Direct Hire or Contract. You choose! 3-5 days/wk M-F. 8a-5p Adult and Pediatric population Prefer minimum of 2 years experience, but will consider less. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations of hearing and balance disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs. Provide fitting and adjustment of hearing aids and assistive listening devices. Educate patients and their families on hearing loss management, communication strategies, and device usage. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards. Collaborate with physicians, particularly in the fields of otolaryngology, to ensure coordinated care for patients. Utilize organizational skills to manage patient schedules effectively while ensuring timely follow-up appointments. Stay updated on advancements in audiology practices and technologies through continuous education and training. Qualifications
Doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent clinical experience. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques related to audiological practices. Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel for data management. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with patients and their families. Exceptional communication skills for clear interaction with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Notes
