Employment Type: Full time. Shift: Rotating Shift. Department: Radiology Diagnostics - Livingston. Location: Howell, MI, Brighton, MI. Shifts Available: 2nd and 3rd shift, every other weekend, on call and holiday rotation. Status Available: Full Time, 32-40 hours per week. Sign On Bonus:
Up to $10,000 for Full Time New Hires. Registered radiologic technologists without prior CT experience can be hired and trained in CT by accepting the terms of the sign-on bonus. Our Commitment:

Howell, MI, Brighton, MI Responsibilities
Operates CT scanners to obtain images for diagnosis and treatment. Prepares patients for procedures, administers contrast media, and uses ALARA techniques. Provides quality patient care considering age, development, and cultural needs. Reviews patient charts and radiologic history to determine proper protocol. Ensures proper identification, positioning, and immobilization of patients. Explains procedures, provides reassurance and instructions. Operates CT equipment and performs quality control checks. Administers contrast media and monitors for adverse reactions. Documents patient history and reactions; coordinates with referring physicians. Monitors patient condition during CT exams and initiates emergency actions if necessary. Maintains cleanliness and adheres to infection control procedures. Adheres to radiation safety regulations and applies safety knowledge. Schedules CT exams for optimal efficiency and equipment utilization. Qualifications
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience. ARRT registered radiographer. Advanced CT certification or CT registry-eligible (certification within one year of hire). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Experience in trauma and stroke centers (preferred). Experience with venipuncture, cross-sectional anatomy, 3D post-processing, cardiac CTA, and CT-guided procedures (preferred). Note: Some CT training may be provided for those without prior CT experience under the sign-on terms. Total Rewards and Benefits
