About this role:
As an Advanced Practice Provider in Psychiatry, you will provide inpatient care at the new Alta View Psychiatry unit set to open January 2026 in Sandy, Utah. The ideal candidate will have several years of inpatient psychiatry experience, is compassionate, has excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoys working with a team.

What you'll bring:
One to two years of experience in inpatient psychiatry unit NP requirements: PMHNP-BC required. MSN or DNP with Post graduate certificate in psychiatry and mental health if specialty other than psychiatry PA in Psychiatry requirements. The PA must obtain and maintain a Certification of Added Qualification (CAQ) in psychiatry from the NCCPA Have a doctorate level education - DMSC for PAs Have a post-graduate certificate in psychiatry and mental health Complete post-graduate residency (clinical hours) in psychiatry Complete 10,000 hours of clinical practice in mental health Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one BLS certification and DEA Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
