Hourly Pay Range:
$33.16 - $49.74. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position:
Respiratory Therapist - Resource Team/Per Diem What you will need: License:
Licensed by the State of Illinois as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required Education:
Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of respiratory therapy required Certification:
CPR certification required Experience:
6 months experience in a healthcare setting preferred; 1 year of adult critical care experience (neonatal or adult) preferred What you will do: Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians according to hospital policy and procedures Assess patients to determine the most suitable method of administering treatment Document treatment, equipment maintenance, and quality control activities; transcribe verbal or phone orders by physicians Communicate treatment procedures clearly to patients and families Monitor patient physiological responses to therapy, with special attention to pediatric and neonatal patients Provide patient and staff education About Us Endeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing access to quality, community-connected care, serving over 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties.
