Eurofins Environment Testing – North Central is seeking an experienced Laboratory Analyst with a strong background in Organic Preparation Analysis and a proven record of working in an industrial or commercial laboratory setting. Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in accordance with scientific and EPA methodology. Perform routine laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, chemical analysis, data calculation, and reporting of data and any unusual test occurrences. Maintain routine instrument maintenance and perform job functions in compliance with Eurofins EHS and QA standards. Assume responsibility for general housekeeping in the work area. Become trained and competent on complex instrumentation, including but not limited to gas chromatography, gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument‑specific data systems. Work under close supervision using routine and standard methods. Qualifications
BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years of laboratory experience may substitute for degree. Analytical and/or General Science experience with strong mathematics background. Knowledge of standard operating procedures, laboratory procedures, laboratory safety rules and chemical hazards. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. Professional working proficiency in English. Additional Information
Position is full‑time, with flexible 1st or 2nd shift; training for 2nd shift will occur on 1st shift for 3‑4 weeks. Pay range: $18‑22 per hour base pay + 10% shift differential when working 2nd shift.
