Shift: 2:00-10:30pm Thurs, Fri, Sat. How you’ll serve our patients

As a patient care professional, you will be part of a team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions and/or support at our centers. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) works under the supervision of the Nursing department and is responsible for the direct care of inpatient and residential patients by providing supervision and support. You will serve patients daily in multiple ways: Milieu Management, including maintaining daily program structure and following the program schedule Complete observation rounds and safety checks as ordered by the physician Work with patients on de-escalation and implementing coping skills per treatment plan Provide patient transportation as needed for medical appointments (location/program dependent) Take patient vital signs, weights, and urine specific gravity (location/program dependent) Other nursing support duties as assigned Act as secondary support staff in group therapy (location/program dependent) Assist with morning routine and Activities of Daily Living while patients are in spa/bathroom Meal support and bathroom monitoring, including flush checks for patients in the eating disorder program Complete documentation of patient observations, meals and individual check-ins during shift Must Haves

BHT I: High School Graduate/GED (Required) BHT I: Associate’s Degree (Preferred) BHT I: Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (Required) BHT I: Psych Tech or CNA experience (Preferred) BHT I: 6+ months of direct patient care/milieu experience (Preferred) BHT II: High School Graduate/GED (Required) BHT II: Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) BHT II: 1 year of Behavioral Health experience (Required) BHT II: Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (Required) BHT II: Minimum of 1 year of ERC milieu experience (internal teammates only) How we invest in you
