This is not your average ER role—you will be part of a government-run facility delivering vital care to a diverse community, all while surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Blackfeet Community Hospital is hiring long-term contract locum NPs and PAs for our Emergency Room located in Browning, Montana. This is a government-owned and operated facility providing both inpatient and outpatient services. Responsibilities include: Provide professional emergency medical services and direct patient care in the ER Evaluate adult and adolescent patients presenting to the emergency department Make preliminary diagnoses, prescribe treatments, and arrange for referrals or specialized care Deliver care to patients with a broad range of medical conditions, often critical or complex Stabilize and transfer major trauma patients (penetrating wounds, TBI, hemorrhage, blunt trauma, etc.) Manage pediatric trauma, psychiatric emergencies, and critical medical conditions such as septic or cardiopulmonary shock Perform advanced airway management (where permitted by scope and credentialing) Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and facility staff to ensure comprehensive emergency care Additional Duties: Additional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time. Requirements: Active, Unrestricted License

— Must hold a current and unrestricted license to practice in Montana, any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Experience in Emergency Medicine Active DEA Registration

— Required to prescribe controlled substances. Certifications

— Must have current certifications in:

Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Citizenship

— Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States. Experience

— A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is required. Credentialing

— Must complete all credentialing requirements within 10 days of offer acceptance. Federal Security Clearance
