Job Summary and Qualifications This is a 36-bed acute care unit, ideal for preparing to excel in your field. It cares for patients with chronic and acute illnesses, specializing in peritoneal dialysis. The unit collaborates with department leaders to support your career goals. Registered nurses coordinate patient care, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide physical and psychological support. Daily tasks include assessments, care planning, medication administration, documentation, education, equipment maintenance, and communication. What you will do: Demonstrate knowledge of human growth, assessment, treatment, and care appropriate to patient ages as per Scope of Service. Promote customer service initiatives. Utilize the nursing process to meet patient needs. Perform technical skills and procedures competently. Document all patient care accurately. Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues. Graduation from an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Current licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
