Overview
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Nurse Practitioner position with the University of Missouri – School of Medicine, Columbia, MO. This dual posting is linked with Job ID 55760 (Physician Assistant); one candidate will be hired for the role, either Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Responsibilities
Evaluation, management, and treatment of PM&R patients following discharge from acute and post-acute care hospitalization. Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to develop treatment goals and care plans, and coordinate services to implement these plans. Act as a resource for patients, families, nursing staff, and other health care professionals to address concerns related to health care delivery. Provide inpatient care and follow-up in collaboration with collaborating physicians. Participate in research studies and clinical trials as determined by the establishment of studies and trials. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required. Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When the primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under the new state of residency within thirty (30) days. Preparation as a nurse practitioner in either a Master’s program or a certificate program. Must be granted a Document of Recognition from the Missouri Board of Nursing. Benefits
