Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) – Responsibilities
Perform routine and STAT clinical laboratory testing in all areas of the laboratory following established procedures. Read, interpret, record, and maintain patient testing records; learn new procedures/assignments in a timely manner. Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of all technical procedures and instrumentation operation. Review pending reports, investigate and manage outstanding specimen/test issues and delays; consult with the CLS, Manager, or Medical Director on matters beyond own scope. Education/Training/Experience – Qualifications
A valid Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) certification from the State of California is required. Meets California DHS Laboratory Field Services licensure education requirements for a CLS. Two years of experience as a CLS is preferred. This Opportunity Offers The Following
