Overview
Provide diagnostic C.T. scans for interpretation by radiologist and/or performing physician in the performance of interventional and special procedures (biopsy, ablation, myelography, arthrography and any other such procedures). Assist radiologist in the performance of special CT procedures and provide the patient care essential for all procedures. Be on call if needed. Apply principles of radiation safety. Organize the daily schedule and be a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift. Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures with attention to image quality and patient safety. Assist in interventional and special CT procedures as needed. Maintain clean, organized work area and effective communication with the radiology team. Manage scheduling and provide reliable coverage on shift. Qualifications
Education:
Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program. Certifications/Registrations:
ARRT registered or registry eligible upon hire, and ARRT achieved within six months of employment. Experience:
1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor’s degree program. Will consider new grads and move into a Level I tech. We Offer Great Benefits
