The Clinic Radiologic Technologist, under a Radiologist’s supervision, performs radiology procedures on patients in a Physician Office or Clinic. These procedures are requested by a physician or licensed provider for diagnosing disease and injury, following established protocols. Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Perform high‑quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner. Demonstrate an understanding of radiation dose reference levels and monitoring. Take action if the estimated dose exceeds set levels. Utilize AIDET to communicate with patients. Identify patient service needs, ensure the correct exam is performed, and build rapport. Prepare the patient and area for the procedure. Position the patient, adjust immobilization devices, and set exposure factors. Protect patients and employees by following safety, infection‑control, drug, and radiation policies. Use proper sterile techniques for invasive procedures and maintain hand hygiene. Maintain equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards. Work with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment operation. Report issues to management or appropriate department. Assist in maintaining supplies inventory. Ensure people are safe to enter the department by screening them according to approved policies and procedures. Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant documentation like requisition/chart, patient history, pregnancy status, shielding precautions, consent forms, policies, and procedures. Maintain medical imaging records in appropriate system and according to department policies and standards for interpretation in a timely manner. Key Success Factors

Provide services quickly, accurately, and cost‑efficiently, following System and regulatory standards, policies, and procedures. Able to perform tasks autonomously without need for routine oversight. Able to stay calm and helpful during stress. Take reasonable steps to resolve issues. Able to effectively administer first aid and use emergency cart. Ensure customer satisfaction by limiting wait times and providing courteous service. Remain professional, review patient satisfaction scores, and develop action plans when needed. Demonstrates and maintains current knowledge, continued education and skills appropriate care for all age groups. Able to serve as preceptor by providing quality training to new team members and on new services and initiatives. Able to take call, if required. Belonging Statement

EDUCATION – Grad of an Accredited Program MAJOR – Radiologic Technology EXPERIENCE – Less than 1 Year of Experience Certification / License / Registration
