is an innovative, strengths-based, trauma-informed outpatient setting that pairs both clinical therapeutic services and vocational rehabilitation (education and employment support). We are a multidisciplinary team that assists youth in working toward goals that support mental health and overall well-being. This position is also responsible for maintaining compliance to documentation standards for all work performed. Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required. This position will serve as the
Family and Group Therapist
for our Phoenix team, serving young people who are experiencing early episode psychosis and their caregivers. There will also be option to provide group therapy to Emerson St. youth in all facets of programming. The Phoenix program is based on the RAISE model – Recovery After Initial Schizophrenia Episode and also integrates evidence-based practice based on individual needs and treatment goals. This position will coordinate closely with the team, which includes psychiatry, supported employment and education, peer support, family psychoeducation and therapy services. & Duties: Provide family therapy, caregiver support and/or group psychotherapy services Monitor treatment progress and follow-up as clinically indicated. Facilitate the persons we serve and support systems’ growth and development with an emphasis on strengths and resiliency. Collaborate with internal and external partners in support of the person’s growth and development. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with agency standards. Participate in team meetings, in-services and supervisory sessions as required. Coordinate with other members of the treatment team, including supported education, supported employment and psychiatric staff. Other duties as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications: Education: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other human service field. Licensed or licensed within 6 months of hire. Experience: At least 2 years working with people experiencing significant mental health challenges. At least one year experience working with adolescents and/or young adults preferred. Tuberculosis (TB) screening, testing - TB screening and testing, is required
