Seeking a dedicated professional to provide psychological services in a K-12 academic setting. This role involves assessing and addressing the diverse needs of students, ensuring that each child receives the support necessary for their educational and emotional development. The position is based in Wilmington, DE, for the duration of the school year.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents. Provide short-term counseling and interventions tailored to student needs. Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive learning environment. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student progress and needs. Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on mental health and wellness.
Qualifications
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid state license or certification in school psychology. Experience working with K-12 students preferred. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
