Job Description
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member to expand our team of Community Radiology Specialists for daytime coverage of routine diagnostic imaging. Call coverage will also be required for this position. The successful candidate will have a good blend of experience in general radiology skills. This position is for a board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologist with strong interests in community radiology operations. Our clinical network is linked to the University of Maryland Medical Center, located at the heart of the University of Maryland Medical System's Baltimore campus, via an enterprise-wide EMR-driven PACS system supported by voice recognition dictation with seamless interoperability. The potential start date is as soon as May 2020; however, graduating fellows who can start in July 2020 will also be considered. The work schedule will emphasize sustainability and a favorable work/life balance. Candidates should be comfortable with the broad scope of diagnostic radiology, including plain film, CT, and ultrasound. There are no mammography requirements.
