Your responsibilities include:
Ensuring specimens are suitable for testing and preparing reagents.
Labeling, accessioning, and maintaining specimen integrity.
Initiating blood and blood component orders.
Following safety protocols and infection control policies.
Using computer systems to review and report results.
Preparing and interpreting various laboratory tests.
Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
Participating in quality control and staff training.
Properly disposing of waste chemicals and maintaining documentation.
The must-have qualification is: Clinical Lab Generalist licensed by Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners as CLG or CLS .
Work shift: Weekends (United States of America).
