Hawaii Pacific Health Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
The Resource team provides quality, comprehensive patient care in an assigned facility, covering for regular staff members that, for a variety of reasons, are unable to attend to their normal positions. The Resource Team provides clinical and nursing support and encompasses a broad skill set that enables members to float to various areas in the hospital or clinic. As a Clinical Assistant, you will join the team of accomplished clinical professionals providing exceptional health care services at Straub. In this role, you will help to perform a variety of nursing and health care procedures, as well as certain clerical services. We are looking for someone attentive and dedicated, with a fine-tuned sense of responsibility, the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school or equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification
OR
completion of nursing fundamentals. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current Hawai’i Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certificate. One (1) year clerical experience in a health care setting. One (1) year clinical experience.
