Job Responsibilities
Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal trauma studies.
Prepare and administer contrast media while adhering to radiation safety and isolation precautions.
Support a high-volume emergency department and primary stroke receiving center.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care across adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations.
Assist with patient transport when needed and maintain accurate imaging documentation.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience.
Community hospital experience required.
Certifications : BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT
CA state license required
Preferred Skills & Experience
Aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and vascular CTA procedures
Brain perfusion and coronary CTA
Proficiency with imaging equipment : GE, Toshiba, PACS (Fuji Synapse preferred)
Knowledge of radiation safety, contrast media preparation, and infection control protocols.
Familiarity with both adult acute care and emergency department imaging settings.
