We are seeking an experienced and certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET/CT expertise to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality imaging services, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compassion in patient care. Job Details Key Responsibilities Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications following safety standards and regulatory guidelines. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and accuracy. Monitor patient condition and provide clear instructions to ensure comfort and compliance during imaging procedures. Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, HIPAA regulations, and quality assurance protocols. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results. Maintain detailed patient records, imaging data, and reporting documentation. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain licensure and certifications. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field. Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-NM). PET/CT certification strongly preferred (ARRT [N] and [CT] or NMTCB-PET). State licensure (if required). Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist; PET/CT experience required. Strong knowledge of radiation safety, radiopharmaceuticals, and imaging protocols. Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills Experience with oncology, cardiology, or neurology PET/CT imaging. Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems.
