Overview
RN Unit Manager - $15,000 Sign On Bonus at Luverne Health and Rehab We are seeking a qualified and dedicated RN Unit Manager to lead within our well-staffed nursing department at Luverne Health and Rehab. The Unit Manager will oversee day-to-day patient care, supervise and develop nursing staff, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to uphold high standards of quality care in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living setting. Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and the care team. Key Responsibilities
Ensure the nursing unit maintains compliance with all federal and state regulatory standards as well as company policies. Supervise and direct nursing staff engaged in quality assurance, infection control, and utilization review activities. Receive and communicate physician orders to appropriate units to ensure timely resident care. Delegate nursing and therapeutic procedures effectively to nursing and staff. Conduct regular patient rounds to assess residents’ conditions, evaluate care quality, and ensure accurate documentation. Qualifications
Current Alabama RN license required. Minimum two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role. Experience in long-term care or working with the geriatric population preferred. Strong clerical skills and ability to analyze and utilize data. Proven ability to organize, plan, and manage personnel and nursing services efficiently. Ability to coordinate department operations in collaboration with other departments. Benefits
