$15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS, RELOCATION ASSISTANCE, AND BENEFITS ELIGIBILITY DAY ONE External applicants and newly licensed internal applicants may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year work commitment. Previously employed applicants who have been gone from the organization more than 90 days may also be eligible. Relocation assistance may be available to candidates who currently reside more than 100 miles from Riverside Methodist Hospital. This Work on Weekend (WOW) position is an every weekend commitment on night shift at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Hours are Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00p - 7:30a. This weekend commitment comes with an additional premium weekend, night shift differential. The MRI Technologist prepares patients for testing (including thorough screening questioning), assists the radiologist during testing, operates the MRI equipment for a variety of procedures, maintains supply inventory in assigned rooms, and covers call duty, as assigned. Responsibilities
Operates MRI equipment, including the magnet, injectors, independent consoles, physiological patient monitors, and cardiac gating/monitoring equipment. Uses equipment to properly adjust pulse sequences according to body part and diagnosis. Demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills. Performs daily safety and quality control checks for the system. Sends images to PACS for interpretation. Transfers images to independent console for further manipulation. Reformats and performs post processing of images for radiologist interpretation. Administers MRI contrast agents. Minimum Qualifications
BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Specialized Knowledge
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or equivalent NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) is acceptable. Must possess good organizational and communication skills. Work Details
