Overview
Pulmonary Disease - Critical Care Nurse Practitioner role with CommonSpirit Health in Omaha, NE. This is a blended position serving the eICU Service Center with rotation for Critical Care inpatients. The service center/eICU is located across from the CUMC Bergan campus.
Responsibilities
Be a part of a highly collaborative team of Pulmonary/Critical Care providers (MDs and APPs).
This is a blended position serving the eICU Service Center with rotation for Critical Care inpatients.
Typically 3 12-hour shifts with a rotation template for days, nights, weekends and holidays: 33% day eICU; 33% day IP; 33% night eICU.
Evaluate patients, new consults, and round on existing inpatients.
Opportunity to credential to perform procedures (arterial lines, intubations, central lines at the bedside) without physician oversight.
IP coverage with Immanuel/Mercy/Lakeside – rotation among those campuses.
Average IP volume: 10–15 patients in the morning; 2–3 patients in the afternoon.
No on-call requirement; rotational holidays.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in the specified area of medical specialty
Valid and unrestricted state license or license-eligible

Pay Range $57.00 - $71.52/hour
