Responsibilities
Be part of our highly collaborative team of Pulmonary/Critical Care providers (MDs and APPs).
This is a blended position serving our eICU Service Center with rotation for Critical Care inpatients.
Typically three 12-hour shifts. Rotation includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Distribution: 33% day eICU, 33% day inpatient, 33% night eICU.
Evaluate patients, handle new consults, and round on existing inpatients.
Opportunity to become credentialed to perform procedures such as arterial lines, intubations, and central lines at the bedside without physician oversight.
Provide inpatient coverage with Immanuel, Mercy, and Lakeside hospitals, rotating across campuses.
Average inpatient volume: 10-15 patients in the morning; 2-3 in the afternoon.
No on-call responsibilities.
Rotational holidays included.
The "Service Center"/eICU is located across from CUMC Bergan campus.

Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in the specified medical specialty.
Valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible.
