Marlborough, MA / Diagnostics
This position is a member of the global Product Development team who will support product development process activities and deliver on strategic company goals.
As part of the global Product Development team, you will be expected to contribute to delivery of strategic goals and support product development activities globally. Contribute to design and optimization of products and automated workflows for diagnostic applications. Assist in installation, validation, and maintenance of laboratory instrument platforms. Support Automation and Development team goals in and out of the laboratory.
Specific deliverables include:
With direction from their supervisor, taking responsibility for the design and conduct of experiments supporting lab automation and product development goals. Ensuring that work is completed to agreed timelines. Ensuring that any likely delays or issues with a given project are communicated to their supervisor in a timely manner. With significant input from their supervisor, prioritizing workload to ensure key objectives are met on time. Support organization, delivery, and analysis of experiments. Compile and present plans, work, and data at internal meetings. Performing duties in/with other departments, on an occasional basis to meet critical Company objectives as required. Ensuring that projects are carried out in accordance with the Company Quality System and to the required Regulatory standards. Ensuring that conclusions in written reports reflect the data presented and reports are of the highest quality. Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international) Working to Revvity’s Company Values at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
BS or life sciences, preferably Biotechnology or Biochemistry 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, experience in ELISA assays a plus 0-1+ years of experience in product development, regulated product settings, and liquid handling programming preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in complex interdepartmental projects a plus Familiarity with Quality System concepts such as CLIA requirements a plus Experience working with FDA-regulated products is preferred. Evidence of initiative and high performance preferred Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high degree of personal & professional initiative Problem solving ability - able to develop creative, practical solutions Ability to work in a global, multicultural collaborative environment Strong organizational skills; able to manage competing priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Shows proactivity in identifying and then overcoming problems. Knows how their role fits in with the whole process Takes responsibility for delivering the required results to the required standards Acknowledges the importance of high standards and works to get things right first time every time
