Overview
The Alice Hyde Medical Center team is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality care in our Walk-In Clinic. This per diem role focuses on providing coverage and support for acute visits within our primary care clinic. Experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train a new graduate in a supportive, team-based environment.
Responsibilities
Provide coverage and support for acute visits in the Walk-In Clinic as part of the primary care team.
Collaborate with other providers to deliver patient-centered care and promote access to primary and preventive health services.
Coordinate appropriate specialty care and support the overall wellness of our community.
Education & Certification Requirements Physician Assistant (PA):
Completion of an ARC-PA approved program (or pre-2001 CAAHEP program)
Current NCCPA certification required
Nurse Practitioner (NP):
Completion of a master's, post-master's, or doctorate from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program
Current ANCC or equivalent national certification required
Scope of Practice The scope of practice and delineation of NP/PA privileges are credentialed and approved by the Chief of Medicine, Credentials Committee, Medical Executive Committee, Hospital CEO, and Executive Board of AHMC.
