The MRI Technologist performs departmental MRI examinations, assists the radiologist during procedures, and produces high-quality images. The role serves patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Key responsibilities include:
Using two patient identifiers
Comparing doctor’s orders to requisitions for accuracy
Assessing patients for possible artifacts and taking action to prevent interference with images
Prioritizing workload and coordinating multiple exams
Assessing patient condition, comfort, and safety during procedures
Communicating accurate patient information to peers, physicians, and other departments
Requirements for the role include:
High School graduate or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
Registered in Radiology
Registered in MRI or registry eligible
AHA BLS

The pay range for this role is $27.97 - $41.60 per hour.
