Full-time Responsibilities
Day-to-day duties include complex analysis of microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests and their results. Responsible for specimen receiving and putting away supplies when received in the department. Troubleshoot/resolve instrument problems and document corrective action in appropriate log and, when necessary, perform instrumentation repairs. Ensure that quality control is properly performed and logged and follow proper department procedures for corrective action. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to train new employees and/or students. Actively participate in phlebotomy and the accession responsibilities. Qualifications
MT experience preferred. Must have FL STATE license in hand OR IF applied already. They are willing to train based on any years of experience had. Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or related field. Medical Technologists (MT)/ Medical Laboratory Scientist registry required to start. ASCP or equivalent is preferred. US Authorization to work is a requirement. Seniority level
