Overview
Physical Therapist, Acute Care Rehab, Baptist Clay. Baptist Medical Center is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist for the Hospital Rehab Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This position is located at the Baptist Clay location in Fleming Island. Schedule is Tuesday - Saturday with day shift hours. A sign-on bonus is available. Responsibilities
Evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy treatment to patients in an adult acute care, hospital inpatient setting. Provides patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Provides limited outpatient care, mainly for neuro patients and upper extremity wounds (job competency training available). Participates in departmental operations and performance improvement activities. Remains within budget guidelines. Participates in mandatory education and licensure requirements. Provides ongoing patient and family education. Qualifications
Education: Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred. Experience: Less than 1 year Physical Therapy Experience; experience with surgical patient care; orthopedics; neuro; acute care setting. Licensure/Certification: Licensed Physical Therapist required; Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Other: Willingness to float to other Baptist campuses in Jacksonville, FL for coverage as needed.
