Telemetry RN – 16‑Week Travel Assignment, Burlington, VT Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Telemetry RN for a 16‑week travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, focusing on cardiac care.

Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.

Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.

Record significant patient conditions and notify supervisors or physicians of changes in cardiac status and response to interventions.

Respond to life‑saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols specific to cardiac emergencies.

Document nursing history and physical assessment for assigned telemetry patients.

Initiate patient education plans through individualized needs, focusing on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for telemetry patients.

Maintain confidentiality of patient and client information.

Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice, adhering to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN.

Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.

Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Current ACLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification.

NIHSS certification.

Additional certifications and licenses as required for this position.

Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), pull, push, and bend.

Ability to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure.

Visual acuity and effective communication abilities.
