Qualifications
Must have own transportation to and from the jobsite every work day (driver's license not required).
Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools).
May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities).
Responsibilities
Receipt inspections of materials received at project job sites.
Perform and/or evaluate test for qualification of welders and/or welding procedures to ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1.
Perform inspections and document in accordance with Code of Construction, Government Standards and contract requirements.
QA/QC error prevention and physical inspection of construction activities (Civil, Concrete, Epoxy Anchors, Structural Steel, Bolting (RCSC), Grouting, Mechanical, Pressure Testing, Coatings, etc.).
Coordination of NDE inspection contractors.
Conduct pressure tests and document results in accordance with Code and contract requirements.
Verification of compliance to drawings, code, and project specification requirements.
Responsible for creating and collecting verification documents for final work packages.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years or equivalent in performing inspections.
Experience with the following codes or standards: ASTM, ACI, AISC, AWS, RCSC, API and ASNT.
