Data Engineer/Scientist role at Trimble Inc. This position is located in Westminster, CO. What You Will Do
Design, develop, and program methods, processes, and systems to analyze and consolidate diverse big data sources — both structured and unstructured. Generate actionable insights and solutions to enhance client services and products. Collaborate with product and go-to-market teams to identify data analysis questions and issues. Develop software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources. Extract meaningful insights from data and effectively communicate findings to product, service, and business managers. What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s and Ph.D. graduates welcome. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, data engineering or a related field. Strong critical thinking abilities and the capacity to work autonomously. Proficient understanding of data engineering concepts such as data lakes, columnar formats, ETL tools, and BI tools. Demonstrated passion and aptitude for problem-solving. Proficiency in Python and SQL; other languages are a benefit. Effective collaboration skills within a team environment. About Trimble

Hybrid location verbiage: Under a flexible work arrangement (hybrid), this resource primarily supports the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Owners (AECO) Segment and works collaboratively more widely. In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time working in the office based on the position and the business need. Typically hybrid positions are 1-3 days per week, or 20%-60% of the month in the office. Benefits
