Automotive Technicians and Automotive General Service Technicians
Overview Monro’s family of brands is one of the leading automotive service and tire dealers in the United States. Responsibilities
Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs
Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process on every customer vehicle
Assist in inventory management and general store duties
Perform services in accordance with Monro's safety standards and procedures
Test drive vehicles following company policy and local traffic laws
Maintain technical knowledge through required Monro University training
Operate and maintain equipment safely according to manufacturer guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school or GED equivalent
Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent education/experience
Ace certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR; ability to operate customer vehicles for test drives
Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program
Effective communication skills; guest and team-focused mindset
Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs
