Job Summary The Environmental and Energy Coordinator will act as a critical link between technical insights and operational execution, maximizing the value derived from the s-Insight tool and improving the management of environmental (including emissions), technical and commercial performance for the fleet.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the correct implementation and daily use of StormGeo’s s-Insight tool.

Provide training and support to onboard and shoreside teams and liaise between shipboard teams, the environmental team, and technical/operational teams.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity, processing, and validation in StormGeo’s s-Insight tool, and troubleshoot discrepancies to ensure consistency and reliability.

Analyze vessel data to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

Generate reports and actionable insights to improve fleet performance.

Act as a critical link between technical insights and operational execution, maximizing the value derived from the s-Insight tool.

Improve the StormGeo – DNV data interface and implement necessary changes/updates to the tool for FSRU use.

Assist in emissions tracking, compliance reporting and audit preparations.

Collaborate with vessel operators and regulatory bodies (Class and Flag) to ensure compliance.

Support the emissions reporting and calculations for EU ETS, Fuel EU for owned and chartered vessels and IMO GFI costs.

Support with the decarbonization efforts.

Support with creating, updating, approvals and maintaining the various environmental operational plans.

Requirements

Marine Engineer or Deck officer.

Marine operational experience.

Knowledge and experience of environmental data and emissions reporting platforms and plan development.

Knowledge and awareness of recent and upcoming maritime environmental and emission regulations is necessary.
