www.nortekair.com/careers . Job Summary This role oversees all electrical engineering aspects related to the design and development of DCC air handling units. As part of the design engineering team, the Electrical Engineer will manage and execute electrical and electronic designs and development. Job Responsibilities: Analyze existing systems and evaluate the suitability of electrical designs and components. Develop and document system-level electrical requirements based on unit needs and various electrical and safety codes (UL/ETL, CE, local requirements) to ensure safety and reliability. Ensure electrical designs and applications comply with relevant codes. Design electrical systems for equipment applications and document them. Peer-review other electrical engineers' work and advise on safety, cost, reliability, and quality improvements. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. Position Qualifications: BSEE or MSEE degree from an accredited university. At least 3 years of experience with industrial or commercial products or similar fields. Experience with EPlan is a plus. Knowledge of various compliance standards (UL/ETL, CE, etc.). HVAC/R experience is preferred. Strong leadership, communication skills, and ability to work independently or in teams.
