This role is part of Raytheon’s Effector Power and Analog Design (EPAD) Team, which focuses on testing, validation, and integration of telemetry, flight termination, power systems, servo electronics, and low noise mixed-signal electronics for front-end sensors. The role focuses on electrical test and troubleshooting to the component level using schematics and test equipment.

What You Will Do

Work with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems to ensure conformance to specifications.

Understand and apply the theory of operation for electronics test to determine faulty product related to design, workmanship, environmental, and/or component defects.

Contribute to systems validation, test and analysis across all phases of integration and test validation in the Labs.

Develop and execute innovative test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools, and techniques to ensure customer success.

Perform testing within power and voltage ranges typical for the products (generally Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

Coursework in one or more of the following areas:

Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and/or test procedures

Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers

This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience performing engineering tests such as ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure), DVT (Design Verification Test), and DMV (Design Margin Verification)

Self-starter, quick learner, ability to function in a dynamic environment, and strong time management

Knowledge of programmable electronic parts including microcontrollers and FPGAs

Strong teamwork, written and verbal communication skills
