Role Overview We are seeking a driven and technically knowledgeable Plumbing or HVAC Sales Representative to lead business development and account management for multifamily and commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
Identify, target, and develop relationships with developers and general contractors in the multifamily and commercial sectors.
Sales and Estimating Coordination:
Collaborate with estimating teams to prepare proposals, bids, and pricing strategies that align with client requirements and company objectives.
Project Pipeline Management:
Track opportunities from bid to closeout using CRM software; maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline.
Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms that align with profitability goals.
Market Intelligence:
Stay informed of construction trends, competitor activity, and upcoming multifamily and commercial developments in the market.
Qualifications
Experience:
3+ years experience in commercial or multifamily construction – ideally within plumbing, HVAC or mechanical systems.
Industry Knowledge:
Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and MEP scopes.
Communication:
Strong communication and relationship building abilities.
Sales Success:
Proven success in B2B or project-based sales.
Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
$80,000 to $100,000 base salary + commissions and bonus. OTE $150k–$200k.
